Benalmadena is a excellent base for a good holiday. It is only 15 minutes from Malaga airport. There is no need for a car unless you would like to go and visit places further away. There are plenty of things to do for every ones tastes. There are countless restaurants and bars, parks, casino, clubs, aqua parks, cable cars to the mountains ,Tivoli World, (Amusement Park), zoo, boat trips, and of course the long sandy beach.

There are many Golf course on the Costa del Sol, the nearest being the Torrequebrada which is a very fine 18 hole golf course. Malaga has 2, ,
Mijas 2, Fuengirola 2, all within 20 minutes drive away. A bit further on you have Puerto Banus, San Roque, Marbella, and Sotogrande golf course plus many more.
Markets
All along The Costa del Sol there are daily markets with general markets, flee markets, arts&crafts and even car boot sales where you can sometimes pick up some real bargains. Mon. Marbella Centre. Car Hire and Transport
If you would like to hire a car for your stay we can recommend a company which we sometimes use, the car can be picked up on arrival at the airport and returned when you depart. There is also a car hire shop in Benal Beach both are reasonably priced. You can also hire scooters locally. There is a cab rank outside the apartment block, and plenty of bus stops very nearby.
